Paul's journey in the construction industry began right here in Brooklyn. After graduating from Columbia Central High School in 1993, he joined his father's construction company, Pat Bates Construction. It was during this time that Paul's passion for construction, creativity, and design truly flourished.

 

In 2000, Paul took a leap of faith and built his very first home, becoming a proud new homeowner. Since then, he has embarked on two additional personal home builds at the beautiful Lake Columbia. This personal experience has only deepened his understanding of the joys and challenges involved in creating a home that is truly your own.

 

In 2014, Paul's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Lake Forest Builders, LLC. Since then, we have been dedicated to delivering high-quality homes that not only meet your expectations, but exceed them. With our commitment to outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail, we strive to create homes that embody the unique visions and dreams of our clients.

Outside of Lake Forest Builders, Paul has been actively involved in the community. He served on the Lake Columbia Property Owners Association (LCPOA) from 2014 to 2020, contributing his expertise as a shore director and on the building committee, ultimately serving as the Vice President of the LCPOA. Furthermore, Paul has been a director on the Home Builders Association Board since 2018, further enhancing his knowledge and connection to the industry.
